We have feathery visitors

So we've known this for a long time but this just enforces it, Abby is a crummy guard dog. We have had this giant cat in and out of our yard as well as quail. We always have little lizard and big black birds but the other day Greg noticed we had some new visitors. I guess the ducks ran Abby out of her sun spot. Which I'm sure annoyed her but Abby seems to just tolerate everything. We still think another name for Abby aside from "The Bizz" is Bird Dog. She charges in the sun to get energy;)Though Abby is a crappy guard dog she is pretty awesome at hogging all the blankets and some how booting you out of your warm spot;)

Valentines Day

Greg and I spent a nice Valentines Dinner with our friends Mike, Mara and their son Rohan. We tried a new restaurant Bombay Spice . We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the orange sorbet desert!! Amazing;) After dinner we drank a bottle of wine, played Jenga, which by the way is A LOT of fun after a bottle of Wine! Later we relaxed in their hot tub;) Im thinking Greg and I really really need a hot tub now ha! We had a great time and agreed we needed to do this more often. So we decided that once a month we would get together and try a new restaurant.
Valentines day Greg had a lot of studying and sleep to catch up on so it was very relaxing. I spent some time working on an art project. I am still working on it, I keep thinking of things to add;)Its keeping me entertained on this rainy/chilly day. Greg was sweet and bought me some nice flowers and chocolate that I do not need;) Of course the chocolate is totally gone now:)
I hope everyone had a wonderful Vday! We are thinking of you Uncle Larry and sending you a lot of love and prayers!!

Home projects

2010 has started off as a very busy one. With running a 1/2 marathon to visitors every couple of weeks, we stay entertained.
Greg and I have been working 60 some hours a week, so we really enjoy the little spare time we have together. We have spent a lot of time the last few weeks on our home and updating the decor. Its amazing the amount of things you teach yourself to avoid having to pay someone the big bucks for labor;)We have definently had fun though.
The 1/2 marathon was a lot of fun. We are already planning on next year, lets just hope I am not sick then either! Running 13.1 miles and not feeling well is not the greatest feeling, but it was nice to say we accomplished what we set out to do.
In the end we are very tired people, but we are having fun and we can sleep some other time:)We are enjoying life:)
