We had a relaxing morning. I read by the pool and Greg was having fun golfing with his friend Mike down by the ASU campus.
Greg had said he’d be home around 2ish to head to our friends 4th of July party in Gilbert (a 45 minute drive). His game of golf took a lot longer:) He left around 10am to hit balls and then golf. He was home around 4pm:)He hadn’t golfed in about 5 years so I think he may be a little sore still:) He had fun though:)!
Our friend Gary Finer met at our house around 2pm. He shared his amazing pictures of his Telluride Co experience. He went to a 4 or 5 day concert. The pictures were just breath taking, something you would find in a magazine! The concert was obviously a blast, but the scenery was so beautiful!
We headed to our friends 4th of July party where we played several entertaining games. They were raising money for a charity group so it was all in fun. By the end of the night Greg was the king of Monkey Barrels and I was the queen of plungers, you just had to be there;)
We originally were going to head out to see fireworks but we were just having so much fun with friends that we didn’t venture out. The neighbors set a few off for the party though which was nice.
I have to say it was a great party, games, karaoke and awesome food. How often do you watch a fun bunch of people sing karaoke to Ozzy Osborne!!??
Sunday was a relaxing day, Greg installed our new sprinkler system. So no more "oops I left the sprinklers on for 45 minutes and its flooded the street!" It seemed to be a smooth process too, no electrocuting himself and it worked on the first try:) He is becoming quiet the handyman!
We closed the day by heading out to see the new Transformer 2 movie. I don't care what critics say, that was a darn good movie! Maybe not as good as the first but pretty close:) Optimus Prime rules:)
